Endless Journey
Written by Dr Janet Stumbo, a member of Bear in Mind, Endless Journey is a
fascinating first-hand account of a brain injury survivors experiences.
The author shares how behavioral vision care led to the recovery of many
skills, allowing her to function better and prosper after medical doctors
gave her little hope for a normal life. The message to survivors, their
families and health care practitioners is Never, ever give up!
Cost: $39.95
VIDEO:
Remember Me: Living with ABI
Remember Me looks at impressions of living with traumatically acquired
brain injury. It deals with life as people adjust to their disability on a
day to day basis, years down the track. The video aims to improve service
providers understanding of the particular needs of people with ABI, and is
a tool for community education about this often misunderstood disability.
