Radical Women Meeting
Wednesday 30 June, 7.00 pm
Solidarity Salon, 1 Appleby Crescent, West Brunswick (Melbourne)

A SALUTE TO CUBA -- A FUTURE THAT ALL HUMANITY IS BOUND FOR

This year, Cuba's revolution turned 40. Radical Women will pay tribute to
this beacon of change which keeps the boardroom barons on red alert. Cuba's
universal health care, free education and full employment -- made possible
by the nationalisation of the country's wealth -- show the rest of the world
that we can transform our own societies.

Join us as we review Part II of the "Freedom Socialist" newspaper's 4-part
feature series: "A worker's guide to the 20th century." We'll look at the
critical dangers that revolutions encounter when left to fend for themselves
in a capitalist-controlled world. We'll discuss how making socialist
revolution in our own countries -- particularly in capitalism's heartland --
is not only possible and necessary for women's emancipation, but it's the
most powerful act of human solidarity.

EVERYONE is welcome (ie women and men). Dinner will be served at 6.15 pm for
a $6 donation.

For further information, phone us on (03) 9386 3230.
