Dear friends of the New International Bookshop,
On Saturday 23rd October, the New International Bookshop is holding its
annual revolutionary, ribald quiz night. Plenty of everything will be on
offer - prizes, fun, chances to test your knowledge against others, and
plenty of (ever-so-comradely) competition between groups.
Venue is the ballroom at Trades Hall in Melbourne, with people meeting
first at 7.30 in the bookshop cafe. Tables of eight. $12 per person ($10
concession). Drinks can be purchased at the bar, BYO nibblies and snacks.
Book a table of eight - or we can place you on a table with others who have
craniums crammed full of facts, figures and otherwise useless trivia.
How about encouraging your community group or union branch to book a table
... we've devised some special questions and games to spur the competition
between groups!
