Aboriginal Float
Aboriginal workers from ACON (AIDS Council of NSW) and AFAO (Australian
Federation of AIDS Organisations) are co-ordinating a committee for an
Aboriginal community float for this year's Mardi Gras. We are seeking and
Aboriginal volunteers to become involved with our float by offering
assistance with building the float, dancing or participating in the float
at the parade. We will be holding a meeting this Saturday to discuss the
float and those wanting to offer assistance. The meeting will be held at
AFAO 4th Floor, 74 Wentworth Avenue, Darlinghurst this Saturday at 4pm.
