In this film The Awful Truth's Michael Moore takes on the might of General
Motors detailing the decline of Michigan city Flint following GM's decision
to shut down the local motor industry despite record profits. In turns
tragic and hilarious Moore, the son of an auto worker, follows the fate of
Flint's ex motor workers whilst attempting to hunt down those corporate
criminal's responsible for his home town's collapse. Check out the bizarre
attempts by Flint's elite to turn the industrial city into a tourist
destination, see globalisation result in 25% unemployment and one of
America's highest murder rates and learn the meaning behind "pets or meat."

The Melbourne IWW is showing this film to tie in with the Mobilisation for
Global Justice happening at the IMF and World Bank headquarters Washington
