To find out the answers to these and many more come along to our Green It
Up Quiz Night on Saturday June 3 at 7pm at the Box Factory.
With an environmental theme this quiz night is being held to raise money
for the independent newspaper Green Left Weekly.
Green Left Weekly, has for over nine years,covered important issues of the
day, including climate change, Apartheid in South Africa, Human rights, the
campaign for independence for East Timor, pollution, against racism,
women's liberation, trade union and workers rights, nuclear testing in the
pacific, genetically modified foods, gay and lesbian rights, the proposed
waste dump in South Australia, migrants rights and the Pelican Point Power
Station to name but a few.
As an independent newspaper Green Left Weekly is completely funded by the
activities of volunteer supporters. Each year we organise fundraising
events to keep Green Left Weekly operational.
Please get some friends together, book a table and come along to support
Green Left Weekly.
