Prominent aboriginal activist Isabell Coe will be in melbourne next week,
speaking on the aboriginal struggle from the tent embassy to the 2000 olympics.
'Still Fighting for Justice' is a socialist alternative public meeting,  and
will be held on friday August 11, 7.30pm at the New international bookshop,
Trades Hall (cnr Lygon and Victoria Sts, Carlton). Isabell Coe has been at the
forefront of aboriginal struggle for many years, and was involved in setting up
the tent embassy at parliament house in canberra. She is currently involved in
organising the indigenous protests at the olympics.
with the olympics protests coming up, this will be a great opportunity for
people in melbourne to find out more about what is happening in sydney, and
about the ongoing struggle for aboriginal rights.
