Dear Comrades,
Dispite blackmail, lies, intimidation from ALP
slime the Public Meeting in support of the Yallourn Power Workers will be
going ahead at 7pm Wednesday 13th of December at the YWCA 489 Elizabeth St
Melbourne. The secretary of the CFMEU Latrobe Valley sub branch Luke Van
Der Meulen will be speaking and workers from Yallourn will be coming down.
It is vital for the moral of these stauch set of unionist that people come
to the meeting to show their support dispite the ALP and there friends in
the trade union movements best efforts to shut it down. The local
leadership are fighting hard to convince their member to reject a company
EBA which will strip them of all their key conditions and lead to major job
losses. They desperately need support from all section of the working class
and broader community. Please show your solidarity by attending and hear
the real story of the valley for yourself.
