Prof Bill Russell, lead author of the report "Melbourne's Northern Gateway:
An Integrated Approach", will explain the details of the alternative to the
Merri Creek freeway based on Highway, public transport and rail freight
improvements.
Prof Russell will show why this package is a viable, environmentally
superior, socially responsible and cost effective alternative to the
proposed Merri Creek freeway.
