A public forum bringing together members of the African, Latin American
and Kurdish migrant communities.
Confirmed Speakers include:
Fidan Kucuktepe (Human Rights Committee of Victoria)
Salvador Nunez (El Salvadorean community, FMLN)
Jorge Jorquera (Socialist Alliance)
This community forum will bring together anti-racist activists and a
range of migrant communities to discuss alternatives to the "Fortress
Australia" policies of the Liberal government and Labor Party. Issues to
be discussed will include - closing down detention centres, providing
adequate support for refugees, and ending racist immigration laws.
