Refugee rights supporters are invited to an initial
discussion of plans for a Festival/Protest/Vigil at
Maribyrnong Detention Centre to be held on Friday June
28 and Saturday June 29.

The discussion will take place at:
7:30pm,
Wednesday 15 May,
in the Old Council Chambers,
upstairs at Trades Hall, cnr Lygon and Victoria Sts.

ALL groups and individuals are invited to bring along
your ideas and skills to help make this event a
success. It should be a colourful and exciting
occasion, and inclusive of the various strands of the
pro-refugee movement. There will be room for all to
make your own contribution to a memorable event at
Melbourne's own suburban detention centre.

Help build an event that will make a difference, for
those inside to hear their supporters, and for those
outside who witness the movement against racism and
for refugee rights making their voices heard.
