We had been threatened with a writ of defamation on our exposure of the new NSW Commissioner for Corrective Services Ron Woodham and his top appointee John Klok. No-one is surprised as the censor is Woodham himself, but the right of communication is now being challenged on several fronts. However the material has also been printed in the widely-distributed newspaper Sydney City Hub, May 2002. The parliamentary Upper House Inquiry looking at their appointment has decided to refer it to ICAC - the Independent Commission Against Corruption.
