Rally to save the Baktiyari family!
Alamdar and Muntazer Baktiyari were locked up in Maribyrnong Detention
Centre then this morning sent to Woomera, after their failed bid for asylum
at the UK consulate.
We need to organise to save them and their family from
deportation. Campaigning forced the government to let the Bedraie family
out of detention, and now we have to save this family. We have a chance
right now, with the father arriving this morning from Sydney, and thousands
of people expressing outrage.
We can win, but we must act now!
Because the children have already been sent to Woomera, no action will
take place at Maribyrnong as was initially planned.
