The World Trade Organisation is coming to Sydney on November 14 and 15
to discuss how to push along its global pro-corporate, pro-privatisation
agenda.
The no2wto network in Melbourne is organising transport to help as many
people as possible to get to Sydney for the protests.
We are booking space on the train and everyone is welcome to come along.
The cost is $110 return or $55 if you have a valid pension card or
student rail-endorsed card (no health card concessions -- sorry). This
price applies to tickets bought more than two weeks in advance of travel.
We are booking spaces on the morning train on Wednesday, November 13
(for those who want to be in Sydney in time for any
convergence/spokescouncil meeting) or the evening train for those who
have to work or study on the 13th. If there is demand for other
times, we can look at that too.
To book, or for more information, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] (put rail
travel in subject line) or ring David on 0418 316 310.
The network will also organise to make it easy for people to car pool.
The no2wto network meets at RMIT at 7pm on Mondays. Enter from Swanston
St and follow the signs.
