If its melting, you need to speed up your feed or reduce the depth of cut or reduce the router speed or sharpen your cutting tool. Legacy had a pen video a long time ago showing a one pass cut, bit it was cheating a bit. Super hard wood you can almost get away with it. I unscrewed the index wheel - something went ping and the knob hit the floor, bounced and despite a very thorough search I'm darned if I can find it. (found lots of other useful stuff though). Looked through all my Legacy spares and its not an item supplied.apparently. I managed to get the REVO up and running today (yeehahhh) so I'm almost back in business - tried to turn an acrylic pen as per Bill - acrylic shattered - but I'll sort it. I also managed through the group to get a copy of the assembly instructions which helped enormously. Are there instructions for the Rotary Table and the Vertical vice available do you know? Thanks to all the advice and help I've had so far - if I hadn't found this group I would still be ages away from actually using the machine.
