My favorite is the one in the near row - 3rd from the right.
Second favorite is back row - 2nd from left.
Both have "beefier" look to them

Good morning everyone.
Thank you Tim.

Back to work I go today.
I hope this next weekend, I will be able to do a number of bone blank
glue up's . I have a LOT of disks cut, but sadly I have all but depleted
my glued up blanks for turning.
The next step that I need to do is color matching process of the bones.
I need to lay the disks out and sort all of the disks, making piles of bone
disks that are all the same color. Somethings this process is not easy, do
to the slightly different colors of white.
Having soaked all the bone in Hydrogen peroxide makes everything more
uniformed, but there can be still some color in the disks.
I find my matching the disks keeps everything uniformed, and even if there is
some color, if everything looks the same, it all fits nicely together .
Perhaps this process is not 100% nessasary to do, Sometimes a random colored
bone handle also looks good. But for me, uniformity of color is one of my pet
peeves.
We will see what happens on the next batch of blanks. ;-)
Then back to the design quest, trying to find new ideas and different looks,
for the same
things. ;-)

In this photo's , the roped has some brown and a tint of red in it.
in the wave there is a tint of brown and some gray. None of this really matters
at a distance, but up close it can be seen.
That's it for now.
have a great day.

For sure Curt, I just admire that you keep creating and making new designs.
That just goes to show a creative mind you have, and an inspiration for us as
well. Hoping after the Christmas rush I get more time
to play as well. Keep the gears turning Curt. I appreciate all you contribute
to our group.
Kind Regards,

Sometimes its hard to figure what will look best for shape and design. Some
designs come work fine, but just don't look right. I guess it true, beauty is
in the eye of the beholder.

I will keep working at it, trying to fully understand and learn what we call
the learning curve. ;-)

Have a good night.

I too voted for you Bill.

Had a few more min. today. So this is the last bone turning for the weekend. (I
had a long weekend. burning up my annual leave.)(Sun, Mon & today/Tuesday.)

The rope is a 10 start at a 1/8" spacing on a 6" pitch.
with the wave everything is the same as the rope. but indexed 10 times with a
1/8 off-set.
