Carolyn, It is worth repeating that Error 91 does not stop one from backing up one's files. The Legacy back-up file is nothing more than a zip file containing the ".fdb" file and, in V7, the other files which may have been selected. There is actually no need to create a zip file as it is fine just to copy the files and save them in a new folder, preferably on an external HD, or USB Stick etc. If wished the folder can be zipped using 7Zip, WinZip, Zip Genius or any of the other programs which create zip files.
Even though I have not had the Error 91 problem, as well as the Legacy back-up, I usually back-up my unzipped files onto MSN Sky Drive and to a USB Stick as a double precaution. Legacy stores its back-up by default into C:\Legacy\Data, so if Windows dies you will lose your back-up as well as your other files. That location is only suitable as a back-up for when your .fdb file becomes corrupted.
