I have just had two problems solved for me by one of the good people on this List and I now have another. I have a couple who married but did not have any children. The husband died in 1891 and the widow's unmarried sister gave birth to a boy three years later. The widow took the baby in and raised him as her own. My research only showed recently that this boy was not the couple's son.
When I do a Potential Problems report I get the message, "Birth date is after one parent's death date" How should I handle this? I have not shown him as adopted as of yet. Would this solve the problem I should I go about it another way. All suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Colin.
