That option sets the Family File to open each time. Right below that section in the options is a couple of settings for which Family to open to. You can select between:
1) Display Preferred startup family or 2) Display last viewed family. The second is what I think you're looking for. I then copied my databases over to the netbook. I have set the options as follows: 1. Options 2. Customize 3. General Tab 4. Starting Family File: "Open last used family file automatically" However, regardless of which person I used last within a database and saved information to, when I next open up the database, the starting family reverts to another person/family all the time. Yes, it is consistently the same person/family. I have the same problem regardless of which database I open up -- I've several databases. So, what do I need to do other than the Option change above to ensure that each time I open a database in Legacy that the LAST family used will open up? Any suggestions?
