I have been trying to avoid seeing this in reports -- • 1930 Census: US, 21 Apr 1930, East Donegal Twp, Lancaster County, PA. 5 The household headed by George McKain, Sr., age 44 a moulder in an iron works born in PA living with his wife, Elizabeth, age 42, a weaver in a silk mill born in PA, his daughter Blanche, age 13, born in PA, his son George Jr., age 21, born in PA, George Jr's wife Midred, age 19, born in PA and their daughter Mary E. 3/12, all living at 543 West Market Street, Marietta, PA (East Donegal Twp)
By going through and putting in two additional EVENTS - Residence and Occupation. I then check PRIVATE for the census (it is still there for research but just does not print in reports) - so reports show something like: • Residence, 1 Jun 1870, Middletown, PA. living with parents and five siblings (listed as Franklin McCain) • Occupation, 1 Jun 1870. 7 in a flour mill. I am SLOWLY adding the Residence and Occupation Events for my direct line. (Not sure I will ever get it all done with over 5000 individuals and growing!). Just another way to do it!
