Quote from Jenny Benson, "the beauty of Legacy is that we can all use is just how we choose and that means RINs for me and no RINs for you that's fine and no one's going to say either of us is wrong."
That is precisely the reason that I switched to Legacy from another genealogical program. Legacy gives their users the flexibility of using the program according to their individual preferences, rather than dictating what is correct, or what is wrong. My RINs never change, I use them all the time for moving through my file from one person to the next (what a fag if I was looking for John Smith and had to suss out which of half a dozen John Smiths in the Name List was the one I wanted!) and one of my major criticisms of FTM has always been that there are no RINs "on show". But of course, the beauty of Legacy is that we can all use is just how we choose and that means RINs for me and no RINs for you that's fine and no one's going to say either of us is wrong. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp __________ Information from ESET Smart Security, version of virus signature database 4712 (20091223) __________ The message was checked by ESET Smart Security. http://www.eset.com Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
