Because I wanted to use Paul's Census Finder program which currently uses ID = 12 for Census Event. I deleted quite a few of the events provided with Legacy, including the Census event. I have found a workaround using a copy of my database and updating the IDET in tblER for those census records.

If you did you would end in a disaster. What is more puzzling is why you should wish to do this as they are not relevant to anything which you can change in Legacy.
