I've just tried this in my Beta version of Legacy (build 114), switched language to German (used the Sample file) and everything seems to be ok. What happens if you click on "Zurücksetzen" in the "Nachkommenbuch". You should get the default "überschrift" sentences in a report. Tip: you should never change languages with your master family file. If you want to use your master file in English make a copy otherwise you might see unexpected results. I think Rob Smits (from the Dutch team who uses Legacy in 3 languages: Dutch, English and German) wrote some instructions how to switch between languages.
