Just this past week, I've received emails from three people using Bit Defender
2010 who were getting the Access Violation error in Legacy Charting.

Thanks for using Legacy.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Legacy Charting problem

I don't know if there were any lurkers out there with the same problem
that I was having, but anyway, I have now solved my problem of using
Legacy Charting7. It turns out that in my case, it was BitDefender
Internet Security 2010. Even though it seemed to be a Windows access
violation, somehow it was caused by BitDefender. This is what I did to
solve the problem.

Open BitDefender Internet Security 2010. Left click on 'Antivirus'
tab>'Shield tab>'Advance' button. The 'Bitdefender Active Virus
Control Settings' box opens, then click '+' button and add an
exclusion for LegacyCharting.exe. Job done and Charting now works
without 'Access Violation' issues.

I would be interested to know if anyone else has BitDefender and is
experiencing problems...or not?

Happy at last, and now I'll send this off to Customer support as
well.....Graham
