When The gurus printed the book for Legacy 7, they expected to create that part of the program. It overwhelmed them ( It does me also). Officially, it is still impending, but when it is 'fixed' we will hear. Sorry, Rich in LA CA

There isn't (yet) the SourceWriter Conversion Tool which is mentioned in the Help files, but the task can be accomplished with *some degree* of automation, although it is largely necessary to change them one at a time. I believe Dennis's Ltool is useful for this task, but I haven't used it myself so will let him take up that baton. Personally, I am changing mine with the assistance of Access. It's necessary to make a small to the database before being able to merge a Basic MasterSource with the required SourceWriter one. Most of the Source Details then have to be re-entered individually. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
