Hi,

Have you bought the Legacy Video Training Volume 1 and done the Trainings? It
cover sources in detail and is well worth the money. I have been using Legacy
for years and struggling with questions for years. This year I decided to
spludge and get myself the video tapes for Christmas present. Boy, I wish I
did that in the beginning. It would of saved me a lot of work and questions.
Do yourself a favor and do the training video's. You will not regreat it.

Ginny

I'm trying to work on my 'gee, I wish I had known that when I started' things.
I have my census info sourced as 'Unspecified' and would like to identify them
as census. I assume I add Census in the Events/Facts to make it show up on the
list when I add my source. I also assume I must add a separate Census event
for each year I have. I can then copy my Unspecified source to the clipboard,
then paste it to a Census line. I also assume I must do these one by one for
each person. (Someone please feel free to tell me there is an easier way!)

In addition, I used SourceWriter but did not fill in the Text/Comments. I
simply filled in the blanks and attached a 'picture' of the census image.
Should the info about the household go in the Notes on the Events/Facts or in
the Text/Comments on the source detail? What is the difference in the way
Legacy treats these?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Susan Rentzell
