Kevin, Thanks for the reply. I tend to agree that there appears to be a bug. About a half hour ago I send a message to support. I will keep everyone posted. I tried the archives first but found too much chatter about a similar worded issue of 1/2 children in the children's view, so I thought I would check here to see if anyone had this problem or if Sherry knew anything about it. I am glade I posted here if for no other reason than to see that neat link for siblings you shared with us.
--------------------------------------- Richard, The sibling link Kevin shared is how most of us would expect Legacy to "act" in respect to step vs. half children. I know this is an international program but I think this can be traced to English common law and customs. That said, it is interesting that early American Colonial documents often did not adhere to any relationship "rules"; in part because of the high mortality rate and the merging of surviving family members that didn't necessarily have a biological connection being considered "family".
