I have to agree with Ruth's frustration here, although I'm not quite
ready to leave the program just yet.

Back in August I reported a number of bugs in the formatting of GEDCOM
files exported from Legacy. Not a single one was fixed in the
September update, which I was okay with because it came out not too
long after those bugs were reported. Now we've had nearly five months
between updates and every one of these seemingly simple-to-correct
bugs are still in the latest release, despite Brian's assurance to me
back in August that the problems were all added to their internal bug
tracking system.

These are not complicated bugs to resolve, and shouldn't take a
programmer more than a few minutes fix each one! They are primarily
source formatting errors -- typos, stray characters, missing spaces in
source names, and the like. I can correct all of them by manually
editing the exported file in a text editor, but like Ruth says this
should not be necessary for the end user to do, and the programmers
should be well aware of these issues and how to fix them.

While I understand Legacy's urgent desire to "keep up with the
Joneses" in terms of pushing out the nFS search functionality that
competitor products are now featuring, they really need to deal with
some of these other bugs too. There are a lot of users who don't
particularly care about the added nFS functionality, but really need a
fully functional product for other purposes.
