The development of the nFS features is largely determined by family Search
(LDS) and the way and speed they are releasing the data. Legacy is keeping
pace with their developments, otherwise it has little to do with Legacy.

I'm just curious.
Why a small minority of Legacy users and their needs seem to result in new
features and seem to overide the needs of the majority of Legacy users in
getting known bugs fixed in a timely fashion?

The programmers may not have forgotten us but they certainly put us in
second place.

Fixed Items:

LDS Screen - Fixed an error 5 problem.

Descendant Book Reports - Fixed a problem where duplicate lines were
referring the reader to the wrong page number.

Descendant Book Reports - The "Show line back to starting ancestor" option
was not printing for reports where source footnotes were used. Fixed.

Family Picture Tree - Name placement improved on fourth generation. Privacy
option added.

Marriage Screen Phrases - Changed some of the rules for when "married
someone" is used.

Merge - Fixed an error 9 in Find Duplicates.

Report Indexes - Names with [[Private]] portions were showing in the index.
Fixed.

Source Template Screen - Fixed the icons and tooltips on the Spell Check,
Wordwrap, and Strip HTML buttons.

And there are usually a lot of other things which are fixed but didn't make
it to this list.

Although it doesn't affect many of us, the nFS feature is critical for our
LDS users. But be assured, the programmers haven't forgotten the rest of
us!

Thanks for using Legacy.

I would rather have had all the bugs fixed in the newest build of Legacy
before adding a new feature like nFS that isn't available to everyone. I'm
so frustrated trying to get reports out of Legacy that, best software out
there or not, I'm ready to change to something that doesn't have all the
bells and whistles of Legacy but does have the capability of a report I
don't have to spend hours editing before sending out to family and friends.
In Generations and Family Tree Maker, what I asked for in a report, I got.
Not so with Legacy.
