I have a child (George Pinney) that was born of parents, Lyman Pinney and Maria Heath Pinney. They died when he was young and he lived with his Grandmother and her 2nd husband, Alan Smith. The grandmother and her second husband, Alan Smith, adopted George and he changed his name to Smith, from Pinney. He then married and had two children with the surname Smith.
