I'm contemplating a Spring Cleaning of the direct lines in my database and
thinking about current data entry conventions that could or should be
adjusted. I'm on the fence about Events; have never used them (all relevant
data is already included in Source Citation Details) and can't decide
whether to start.

It appears the main uses for Event entries would be to produce (1) narrative
reports and, (2) timelines, but I'd never want a narrative produced directly
from Legacy, and have a different method for creating timelines when they're
needed. What are some of the other compelling reasons for listing Events
for individuals?
