Kirsten,

The most compelling reason is that a Source is supposed to specify from
where the information was found which identified and Event.

A Job is an Event, a Source details where the information came from. They
are *not* the same., nor can one be used as a substitute for the other. I
*never* create Census Events for the simple reason that the Source would
duplicate the Event. My Events comprise the information which I got from the
census, eg. residence, occupation and maybe even name, date of birth etc.
The census itself is only the source.
