The Spouse List shows all the spouses for the current individual along with the date and location of their marriage. Selecting a Spouse to Display To change the current spouse displayed with the current individual, select the desired spouse and click Select. You can also double-click on the desired spouse to select him/her. Changing the Order of Marriages If you want to change the order of the entries in the Spouse List: Highlight the line you want to move by clicking on it. Click the up or down button in the lower right corner of the window to move the line up or down in the list. Sorting Automatically To sort the Spouse List by the marriage date, click Sort. All marriages with no marriage date are sorted to the top and the remaining are displayed in date order. Help, how is this done. Three of the marriages I have proven, however, one marriage is unproven and probably never occurred, so it would have been a partnership. The order displaying in Legacy, on the Chronology Screen, is as follows. Marriage 1 displays as marriage 4 (evidence suggests that this marriage will be disproven). Marriage 2 displays as marriage 1, which has been proven. Marriage 3 displays as marriage 2, which has been proven. Marriage 4 displays as marriage 3, which has been proven. When I select "this couple never married," it displays as Partnership #4, however, it occurred prior to the first marriage in date order, and should be listed as Partnership #1. If possible, I would prefer them to display as follows, Partnership #1 Marriage #1 Marriage #2 Marriage #3 Can this be done, and if so, how do I do it? I would appreciate any and all recommendations.
