freepages by rootsweb is what I use, for my FTP, I use WS_FTP, which is not one 
of the free ones, but I've used it several years and have been pleased.  The

Others can offer examples, but make sure that your site host supports FTP 
access or another way to bulk upload many files. Family trees involve many 
small files, and some web sites only support single file uploads at a time.
