Thanks Ron and Jenny, A reference number (book number and page and entry) does appear on some certificates that I've got. But these would, in the main, seem to be certificates issued by the local office rather than Nanny Southport, so are a Local Register Reference number. Then, there are some that have no reference at at all, and, from the date issued, appear to be the original 'Marriage Lines'. Again, no template seems to fit. Exasperation would seem to be the order of the day! -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
