Interesting how we humans do that: My baby walked at nine months - MY baby walked at eight months! My child read before kindergarten - MY child was reading at birth! My genealogy has 10 million people - I may have "only" 1 million, but they all are documented by original sources (the actual certificates).
My (whatever) is bigger/better/fancier/more expensive/less expensive/more "green"/ ad infinitum than yours! The "my method is right according to me, so yours MUST be wrong," is a belief of those who are need the support of others because they really doubt their method. And so it goes.
