Sometimes I just don't understand........please forgive me if this seems elementary to most of you. I am working with Windows Vista on my desktop (main computer). All of my pictures, documents etc. are organized in folders in the picture folder already set up in Vista. I have pointed Legacy to the items I want linked to my family members and events. I want to put Legacy on my new netbook. If I backup my multimedia files and then follow the instructions Sherry referenced below, will my pictures (the ones linked to Legacy) then show up on my new netbook? Or will I need to also copy my picture folder from my main pc onto my netbook?

So it might look like legacy only did a back up of the multimedia links when you restore a backup of a family file.
