As I may have noted recently, I am finally going through my sources and
putting the citation information down as needed.
Obviously, if I have the information on the birth of an individual, I
would click on birth and then click on the "Add or Edit Source Citations"
logo to fill in the information called for (in this case using SourceWriter).
My question is when the source has nothing to do with specific
information, to what do I attach the citation? In this case, way back in
August
2002, I got a trial membership with Ancestry.com and got some information
from an individual's database. I wrote him asking what his connection to my
family was and he responded. Where would I cite his response, i.e., his
email to me? I was guessing maybe under notes, research or even "Unspecified
Event."
