Brian, You still want some of the citations to read 1820-1957, but you want to change "several" of them to read 1897-1957, correct?
That being the case, pull up one of the citations you want to fix, edit it and when you click on Save you will be asked whether you want to "Apply the change to ALL references of this Master Source" or "Apply the change to a NEW copy of this Master Source." Choose the second option, Apply to a NEW copy. Copy the new source you have just created to the Source Clipboard, paste it into each event you want to correct, then delete the old incorrect source. I wish there was an easier way, but there isn't, as far as I know.
