I think the task needs the slow fix. Go to the Master Source List for "New York Passenger Manifest 1820-1957" IMMIGRATION, tag everyone on an unused tag. Add the new source for "New York > Passenger Manifest 1897-1957 "PASSENGER" to all tagged. As you 'copy' the details from the persons' IMMIGRATION to PASSENGER remove the tag, or confirm which were IMMIGRATION. Then delete the inaccurate source choice. Writing the SQL or Access code, (which I doubt will save any time anyway) will not be as smart about who belongs in which list than you are. And besides, when the slow way is done, you are sure it is correct, No rethinking, did it work? Rich in LA CA
