In Windows Mail on Vista: - The option to assign a format for specific contacts is no longer available. (I did use it in OE.) - Replying in the format of the original is an optional setting, which I do use, since my default setting is html.
Bottom line, I have to remember to double-check in either case (original or reply). Follow your own advice :-) Like I implied, Mike, even when set to only send in plain text to a particular address, some email clients such as Outlook Express which I use, still insist on sending a reply in the format of the original. A pain in the neck to change them and no matter how hard I try I know I miss some!
