I don't see any replies, so others are probably not experiencing this
problem.

I would try:

        o Run Check/Repair on your main .fdb.
        o Close/Start Legacy.
        o Reboot your PC.
        o Close Legacy, delete the .FG file that is associated with your
          .fdb, and restart Legacy.
        o Close Legacy, delete the .usr files, and restart Legacy.

After each one, try creating a GEDCOM and see if it fixes the problem.

If I were a betting man I would bet on #4 as the problem. A .FG is a
Focus Group file. Maybe it has become corrupt.

The last one is a "last resort". If you get that far and that doesn't
work, restore the .usr files from the Recycle Bin.
