Laura,
There are several templates in the source writer for immigration. Type 'Immigration" in the search bar and see if there isn't one that fits the document you have. bgj From: Laura Taylor-Hanson [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, June 30, 2010 7:41 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [LegacyUG] tips for citing border crossings and immigration information I have a general question on how to cite border crossings for family members. I found a relative on a "List or manifest of alien passengers applying for admission" crossing from Canada into Washington state in Jan 1916. I am not sure how to cite it using the legacy sourcewriter or the basic style. I know as I get further into my genealogy I will have more immigration data to cite. If anyone has any tips, I would really appreciate it. I have the book "Evidence explained" by Elizabeth Shown Mills, but I couldn't locate an example that could help or it may be that I was not sure what to look for in the examples.
