Hi Syble, It would be easier to do what Robert said - attach the JPG images to your event, eliminating the need to create a separate PDF file.
However, if you're wedded to the idea of PDF, OpenOffice (http://www.openoffice.org/) will create PDF files. It is a free program. Scan your pages, save them as JPG as Robert suggested, then put the images into an OpenOffice Writer document, then save that as a PDF document. Hope this helps. :-) Kind Regards, Wendy Howard *** Please reply to the list *** -- Kaiwaka, Northland, New Zealand http://freepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wendyh65/ <http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/%7Ewendyh65/> -----Original Message----- *Subject:* Re: [LegacyUG] creating a pdf to attach to event *Sent:* Wed, 30 Jun 2010 20:05:45 -0500 *From:* Robert Carneal USA <[email protected]> *To:* [email protected] > You can create a JPG of the page, I know for sure, and attach that to > the Event.
