Well I’m not sure it does create phantom parents or a phantom marriage – I have
no UNKNOWN / UNKNOWN marriages in my Marriage list. However, when I look at the
son in the Name List it does have his parents listed as Unknown and Unknown.
But if I click on Edit Father it tells me there is no father to edit. By
rights, if a nameless person had been created he /she should show as the
highest number in the Index – not so – that honour goes to the last named
person I entered.

Cheers
Jan

Subject: [LegacyUG] Phantom Parents

Dear Legacy,

Now that we know how to create phantom parents (double-click on
non-existent parents), is this an error or a 'feature'?
