Why is plain text such a big deal on this email group? I'm not being critical, I just want to understand. I'm on several other groups and that comment absolutely has never come up. Until I got on this one, I didn't even know there was such an option. It's no big deal for me, I just clicked on the button that makes all my emails plain text, but it just seems like there are always complaints about it in this group.
I understand that the plain text is simpler and smaller "size" I suppose, but who does that affect? People with dial up? DSL? Because their connections are too slow? Or is it something completely different. I don't think this is "off topic" because this is mentioned all the time on this group and I"ll bet other people have wondered the same thing. Thanks for the help!
