Thanks Ron. It seems that opening charting from Legacy instead of from my desktop made the difference and now it works ok. Thanks. I was using GEDCOM because I haven't finished importing my tree from FTM. I am still experimenting before committing my entire file to Legacy.
BTW I am very frustrated that I cannot make my mouse roll over the list of individuals in Charting and in Legacy but have to use the scroll bar instead. Any ideas where I can reset this? Thanks.
