Step children should be listed under their parents and not the step parent.
This way the "Blood" line would be correct and the report would show the 
different unions that these children are from. With a common parent, one will 
see that these are step children to a the second spouse.

Now if the step parent "Adopts" these children, then they should be entered as 
adopted.

View - Children's List - Highlight the child then choose from the dropdown box 
his/her relationship to the father and to the mother.  That should clarify each 
sibling's relationship to the others.  I haven't created a report with that 
though so I'm not sure if a report actually indicates their relationship to 
each other.
