Rich,

Windows 7 Starter is one of four versions of Win7 offered by Microsoft.  It is 
available only on netbook computers, & is a considerably stripped down version 
of the Win7 O/S.  It lacks some bells & whistles so the it will not tax the 
limited resources & CPU power of the netbook class of PCs.  It can not switch 
users without logging off.  It cannot stream videos & comes without Windows 
Media Player, etc.  You can Google up the details.  I have no idea if the 
limitations of Win7 Starter have any effect on Legacy.
