Not quite sure what is the relevance of Swedish records in particular, but as your question is addressed to the LUG I presume you are thinking of SourceWriter. All sorts of things we use now are unlikely to be around in 200 years - CDs and DVDs for example (look what happened to floppy disks) and goodness knows how many evolutions Legacy will have gone through in that time. Just as we had to migrate all our programs and data from floppy disks to "new" media, we we will have to keep moving our data on (not just in terms of storage media) to keep it accessible. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp To unsubscribe: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/LegacyLists.asp
