Not quite sure what is the relevance of Swedish records in particular,
but as your question is addressed to the LUG I presume you are thinking
of SourceWriter.  All sorts of things we use now are unlikely to be
around in 200 years - CDs and DVDs for example (look what happened to
floppy disks) and goodness knows how many evolutions Legacy will have
gone through in that time.

Just as we had to migrate all our programs and data from floppy disks to
"new" media, we we will have to keep moving our data on (not just in
terms of storage media) to keep it accessible.
